"I Can Contest As A Yewa Man" Ogun Guber Aspirant BMO

The aspirant who insists he has divine mandate to become the next governor of Ogun state, Bashorun Muyiwa Oladipo has revealed that he is far better than all others seeking the same position put together.
And he provides reasons in an exclusive chat with highstreet.

BMO (the initials of his title, first and surnames) asserted that his, is a long-term ambition of keen preparation.

"Most of them just embraced the ambition to become governor, I have had it for as far back as when I was kid" he stated and insisted that aside having the "divine mandate", he has been planning to occupy the position for years and already has a master plan of how he intends to turn the state around.
Oladipo has over 30years active involvement in politics and governance in Ogun state under his belt.
He was the speaker of the Ogun state House of Assembly during the tenure of Aremo Olusegun Osoba as the Governor of the state.

And almost became the running mate of Osoba because of the depth he brought into the running of the Assembly – but for machinations by "a third force".

His tenure as Speaker remains the "most peaceful and impactful" in the history of democracy in the state according to background checks.

"I served as a lawmaker, former speaker with experience in making laws and I am now a member of the executive where laws for the development of the state are executed...i now have the balance of the experience of being a lawmaker and a part of executive" he pointed.

Currently the Commissioner for Tourism and Culture, the gubernatorial hopeful was formerly in charge of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

With University Degrees in History and Law, BMO explains his strategic focus as governor would be "Employment, Empowerment and Enriching" and the delivery strategy would be on four fronts "Tourism, Agriculture, Environment and Commerce and Industry".

From Remo Area of Ogun East, the aspirant insists that zoning the governorship position to Yewa , Ogun West doesn’t affect him in any way.

"My wife is from Yewa by marriage I am from Yewa. I can decide to use her slot. The Yewas are stakeholders in my ambition" he stated.

Asked what he would opt for if he ended up not becoming the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate, Oladipo stated "My focus is on becoming the governor and working to ensure the party is successful on all fronts. I don’t plan to contest for any position. I believe I have the divine mandate to become the next Governor and actualize my vision to develop Ogun state to be economically strong through youth empowerment, internal opportunities and strength by leveraging on existing structures".
